2 Stroller Hacks for Hot Summer Days
Strollers are great, but they can be heat traps. The heavy fabric and sunshades can block airflow, creating a "greenhouse effect" inside the seat. On a hot day, the temperature inside a stroller can be 10 degrees hotter than the air outside.
Hack 1: The Clip-On Fan. This is non-negotiable for summer. Get an Operated Clip-On Fan.
Where to put it: Clip it to the snack tray or the side bar.
Safety: Make sure the fan has "baby safe" foam blades or a tight cage so little fingers can't get hurt.
Why: Moving air helps sweat evaporate, keeping the baby's body temperature down.
Hack 2: The Muslin Shade Don't cover the stroller with a thick blanket to block the sun—that traps heat! Use a thin Muslin Swaddle. It is breathable and allows air to pass through while still blocking the direct rays.
